Building a Customer Database to Drive Repeat Business
A casual dining restaurant in Maryland had been in business several years, but needed to build sales and encourage repeat business to their restaurant.
CORE Restaurant Marketing worked with the restaurant to develop a strategy to build a customer database. Utilizing WIFI marketing strategies, such as email marketing and an automated loyalty program, the restaurant was able to capture customers’ email addresses and create a valuable customer database. An automated email marketing program was put into place and customers in the restaurant database were targeted to drive repeat sales.
Over the course of 18 months, the restaurant’s WIFI marketing strategies resulted in the collection of more than 4,000 unique email addresses. By tracking promotion codes the restaurant realized an additional $125,000 in sales. The customer database continues to grow and email marketing campaigns continue to generate revenue from repeat business to the restaurant.
