Americans are adapting to working from home and becoming more adept at using technology. Curbside pickup and food delivered to our homes is happening everywhere. This is the new reality.
Many restaurants are taking this time to prepare for “The Restaurant Comeback”. This past week many clients have talked to me about rethinking their menu. They also now realize the value of a customer database that can be built with their own online ordering platform. Sending eGift cards to a friend across town or across the country. Cutting costs with better inventory management and improved purchasing strategies are top of mind with proactive restaurants. Even ghost kitchen strategies are not a taboo thought.
These operators are setting them up for success when we come out of this quarantine. They are setting plans to be stronger for the future. They will be the ones who survive and thrive in the new restaurant world. They will be ready for the new reality. Will you?
